Drawings of a tool (or tools) and plants/flowers. (Students supplied their own tool to draw from, fake flowers were provided for them to choose from). Students were to consider ideas about man-made vs. organic, as well as soft vs. hard when coming up with their composition. Pencil and color pencil on paper.
Drawing 2 (Grades 11-12)
Self portrait drawings done from photographs taken in class. Charcoal on paper. (22" x 30") Students were to consider using props, lighting, and gesture to say something about themselves.
